Every student is engaged, not just those who routinely
participate.
|
 |
Students become part of the entire learning process by
actively interacting in both the teaching
and testing
process.
|
 |
Students are motivated and excited by the seamless use
of multi-media resources brought easily and crisply into their view.
|
 |
Students receive and better understand how to make use
of - immediate feedback. |
 |
Students are better enabled to self-assess so that they
can understand the main purposes of their learning and thereby better grasp what
they need to do to achieve. |
how ConVA
helps
you
do
it
...
ConVA stimulates and exercises student senses in several ways.
First, ConVA makes multi-media curriculum materials more accessible as an
everyday classroom tool. The classroom needs to stimulate students in ways
that their faced-paced, digitally evolving world of sites and sounds does outside
their classroom.
Even the mention of manually advanced film-strip projectors (one of Dukane's long
since retired product lines) sounds silly in today's classroom environment.
Obsolete now, not because the film-strip was ineffective to the learning process,
but instead proving so highly effective an evolution of ever more sophisticated
media and media delivery systems continues today.
Today's students need their classrooms to contain ever increasing doses of modern
media that fill the room with sights, sounds and movement. Education can count on
more and more high production value materials to continue to be produced from publishers
like "Discovery Channel" and others. ConVA helps bring these sights and sounds
seamlessly to students.
ConVA's AV Asset Control helps bring this engaging media to a classroom students
smoothly and economically by taking a total systems approach. Dukane's ConVA
integrates AV assets and the required infrastructure together and then surrounds
that with software tools so that both classroom teachers and technical administrators
alike are comfortable using routinely and without hassle.
Next, ConVA's Student Response allows every student a recognition of participation,
an equal voice within the crowd and an opportunity to communicate with the teacher
without fear or shyness. Pilot deployments of ConVA consistently produced
a marked enthusiasm level increase when students were stimulated by using ConVA
to respond to classroom assessments.
Students become engaged not only with the teaching process, but also the assessment
process. As the lines of these typically separate segments of classroom routine
become blurred, the learning process is enhanced.
